Hokkaido

I also went to Hokkaido for about two weeks in the summer. My husband and I started our trip in Shiretoko and came down all the way to Sapporo. We climbed Mt. Rausu (one of the most famous 100 mountains), and that was hard! That's what it looks like in the picture. Yes, I was on the top. Unbelievable.

We camped a few nights and hitchhiked several times to save money, and we were quite successful. Hokkaido is such as beautiful place.

Since...

some of you have updated your blogs, I decided to do the same.

This is a picture from the summer vacation. I went to the Philippines for about a week to do some volunteer work. I visited a school and gave a demonstration on how to teach English to local English teachers. It was a lot of fun.

Has anyone visited the Philippines? They speak good English and such fun people!

It's been a while...

Hello my former students,

It has been a while since I last saw you all. How are you doing? How's your new semester been? Do you continue to take KPP classes? Did you make any plans to study abroad? I have so many questions for you!

My semester has been good. I have 3 KPP classes. I think maybe my new students think I am a tough teacher! I wonder if you had the same impression of me :)

Anyway, I am doing great. I am posting a picture of beer....it is not just regular beer. It is home brew! Yes, it was made right here in the apartment. It is quite good!

Coming back from my trip...

Here is a picture from Cambodia. Angkor Wat was beautiful.

My Plans for the Spring Break

Hello all,

The semester is almost over. I hope you are prepared for all the finals and reports coming up. It must be hard, but you know that there is a long break after the hard time!

I would like to share my plan for the spring with you. I decided to go to Cambodia. It is partly work and of course also for fun. There is a big meeting for English teachers in Cambodia once a year in February, and I am doing a presentation. After that is done, I am planning to visit some cities and Angkor Wat.

Has anyone been to Cambodia before? I am also spending a few days in Korea on the way back, so if you have any recommendations or advice, please let me know!
